Hello, I would like to know at what temperature you heated the retimer ..... because I heated it to 500 ° C for 10 minutes and it was still well stuck ... I never had this problem with the xbox one x or the xbox one s because it comes off after 1 or 2 minutes.

where do you get all your cells from and do you have to pay for them or do you get them for free?

amazing, thanks for sharing! do you still do it that way? any updates? can't find a newer video on your channel regarding this matter, thanks so much!

This is a historic solution in 11/2024. I Just bought a 2x16Sx280Ah System (28.6kWh) kit for 3000$. Two seplos steel boxes, 200A BMS, and it was assembled and installed in two days of work.

Nice video but clearly biased towards the genuine battery. Regardless thank you for actually taking them apart it was good to see the insides. 👍🏻

I would personally not charge to 3.66v - the cell max is usually 3.65 and honestly they have less than 1% extra capacity from 3.55 to 3.65v.

Those thick DC Cables must be the same length so the cells stay balanced, even the balancer cables must be in equal lengths

I processed thousand and thousand of lithium cells from recycle laptop batteries and one test that is utmost important and must do that I always do to fix and build the solar storage battery pack successfully. I see very few to none of the Utube videos that talk about it. Perhaps they don't know. Impedance test is the key to knowing internally of the cell, pack, module, everything!!!!! It requires an impedance meter and that is a must purchase to work on battery. With my know how of lithium repair I am thinking of buying a used Tesla instead of new as i know that any Tesla battery can be fixed regardless of condition. Tesla makes money on selling the whole thing pack as they have NO reason to fix it.

I've purchsed some faulty Ryobi batteries as all of mine are still good. I'd prefer to take apart a faulty one and upgrade with 3ah to take batteries from 1.3ah to 3ah. Potentially a 5ah to a 6ah Molicell seems to provide 30A with 3.6v so let's see what I get when I open them up one at a time.
@forevercomputingАй бұрын
If it was a knockoff, surely it would also be labelled as "Ryobi"? This would be an aftermarket job instead. WIthout doing usage testing, you can't really compare. There are different cells for different jobs. These 9Ah batteries might be ideal for a replacement to the 2A batteries where you just want it to last longer, whereas the Ryobi 9A would be ideal for power hungry tools. Did you consider this? Could you imagine calling a Yamaha version of a cruiser being a knockoff Harley? The Yamaha would be cheaper, and more reliable. Without knowing the batteries or further testing, it's hard to know where these aftermarket versions are to sit in comparison to the Ryobi ones.

i guilt a pack of just 24 volt with 5 in parralel for testing and put cell level fusing on all cells then took it outside to test a worst case senario and hammered a nail completely through one cell,instantly the fuse blew and the cell fumed violently and disapated before it reached thermal runaway
