You missed the joke. When Lt Gorn pulls the target off the wall and says, "Target Practice?". I immediately broke out laughing. Storm Troopers target practicing, priceless. Pays off the scene in season one of the Mandalorian when the two storm troopers where trying to hit the target with little success.

I think it was deliberate in who called it a "Rebellion." It's the group associated with Mon Mothma that uses the word. She's the one who began leading what was called, by name, a Rebellion, a year earlier. I already feel sorry for the kid, Nemik. I am very positive that he will be the first one killed in that group, like Mouse, in rhe Matrix.

The tension is insane love how much the show is taking it time putting you in andor position. Love how confident he is asking all the right questions, and standing up for himself. We don't who to trust, especially since we don't know what the women are doing during the heist as If gorn can be trusted.

The scene where the other guy hands Andor the device, it’s actually a Polaroid SX70 instant camera that looks like it got some cosmetic Star Wars-like fixes. I wonder if this is the homage to the original light saber was actually a graflex camera flash gun. I noticed it right away, I have 2 Polaroid SX70’s.

The base of the old navigation device looks like a SX-70 but the piece on top looks like it's from a Polaroid Spectra. (I know there were SX-70 AF models, but the top piece layout seems to match the Spectra exactly -- so it seems likely it's some amalgamation of Polaroid parts.)

this was an excellent calm before the storm episode I also recognized that, perhaps, the creator of the show created 4 arcs of this season, comprising of three episodes each. I know Arcane did something similar, and I think it works really really well in TV show format. Smart move for sure.

While watching this episode yesterday I guessed that Dedra (or however it is spelled), the blonde officer and Karn would somehow end up teaming up at some point. I think it’s partly the daughter doesn’t believe that she really is trying to help people but also that Mon Mothma is distant and not really part of the family. Because she was fine going with the dad and she talks about how she’s barley there. Mon Mothma has a lot going on with politics and the rebellion , her husband even said he doesn’t know as much about her as that one dude so it’s extremely likely she’s neglecting focus on her family more for the rebellion and is trying to connect still

I also think she is trying to leave her family out of the rebellion so they don't get punished if she gets caught. And they could accidentally tell others about the rebellion which would be a high risk for everyone. Mon Mothma is just very careful with who to trust and who to involve to keep everybody as safe as possible. Of course her family doesn't know that and just think she is hiding something from them.

Vel is his daughter which explains why he was desperate to recruit Andor, why Vel's arrogance towards him, and his anxiousness monitoring the deep space radio. So many layers when rewatching it. It is refreshing to see nuanced and complex characters in Star Wars, finally.

This show is just amazing. Simply amazing. The world-building, the breathtaking landscapes. I feel for Mon Mothra and especially her home life. That car ride conversation with her and her husband was chilling. This show is NOT A SCI-FI FANTASY ADVENTURE, people. Get over it. This is fresh. This is new. It’s a political espionage thriller about revolution.

The Imperial Hand was a group of five force sensitives that worked exclusively for the Emperor after they were scooped up as toddlers. All were human-types (as the Emperor didn't really like non-humans though he used non-humans all the time). Mara Jade (who later married Luke...in the books anyway) was one of the five Imperial Hands. This group was not related in any way to Vader's Inquisition. The Emperor's Hand did wet-work, while the Inquisition terrorized populations all for seeking rebellious Jedi.

She was 19 and already a senator in the first movie so working at 14 doesn't seem odd. Obi Wan showed us she has a taste for adventure. And her look could be a disguise just like the shop owneer

Nothing emergency awesome about Andor so far. It is so slow and boring. Almost nothing cool about this show. Like this is the least Star Wars show yet as what makes Star Wars is the fun, the pace, the exciting worlds, and the plot. The Clone Wars cartoons and Rebels capture this proper pace but Andor loses it entirely. It sucks! Like watching a Star Trek vs a Star Wars show. Ugh.
