André Ceccarelli, batteur à la renommée internationale, fut laccompagnateur des plus grands (de Stan Getz à Dexter Gordon, en passant par Chick Corea et Claude Nougaro). Il sentoure dun des pianistes les plus personnels du jazz français, Baptiste Trotignon. Darryl Hall, contrebassiste de référence au pulse inimitable, les accompagne. Un trio de rêve !

I met the great french drummer Mr.Andre Ceccarelli in a very small town while Iwas touring in france. He had the balls to just borrow my snare drum for sound check without asking....."I'm from brooklyn" lol.........OK THEN.!!!!!!!!

Hi, I believe the one on the extreme right is a Paiste Twenty Masters Series 20" Dark Ride. It's fairly thin, with a great quick trashy swell when crashed, yet has a great stick sound as a ride. The cymbal just next to that is his Paiste Twenty Masters Series 20" 'Bluebird' Sweet Ride, which he collaborated on with Paiste. I'm not sure about his hi-hats, but I think they are Paiste, and the left-side ride seems like a traditional 20" ride (light, medium?) with a rivet or three...

Comment faire de la musique avec une batterie ,au cœur d'une pulsation...Formidable Dédé Ceccarelli, Mes amitiés au "boss" du Duc ,nous avions sympathisé au club "Le Bilboquet " alors que j'accompagnais Rhoda Scott,cette grande Dame .
