Beautiful almost a spiritual experience. Andre Rieu is the best selling artist from Holland (Maastricht) in the world. Japan, Australië, Canada, etc they love Andre and his Orchestra. I think you have to see more of him, his concerts are like spiritual and very joyfull experiences. People are laughing and crying all the time because of the music and the hapyness.

i was at the 100th performance in maastricht and this man really makes a great show, also a very beautiful city to visit, if you ever come to the netherlands you should try to buy a ticket for that concert which is very difficult because the tickets are often sold out after 1 day because people all over the world come here to see it but you can always try it! this is also one of their most beautiful real goosebumps André Rieu & Mirusia - Ave Maria

I havent seen many artists do to people what Andre and his orchestra are doing to people. I enjoy the music but I also love to see the joy or other emotions in the crowd. Seeing that in Mexico for instance the party went on for such a long time after the concert was great! Whenever a youtuber goes on a Dutch journey it makes me realize how special our little crazy country is. Such a small country but such a huge impact on so many things. We complain a lot... But I think it is not being negative but we always look to make ourselves and our surroundings better! Sometimes we can be appreciative though of the things we have and the people that are great figures for our little country. Andre certainly is one of them!

The Liberace of the violin. If you know Jeff Buckleys or Leonard Cohens version (he wrote it) you can only laugh about this version. If you like Pop-Classic you cant go wrong with Rieu. Rieu playing Hallelujah is like Justin Biber playing Motörhead.

Wonderfull song, but the lyrics are kinda weird right? Baby I've been here before I know this room, I've walked this floor I used to live alone before I knew you Yeah, I've seen your flag on the marble arch But listen love, love is not some kind of victory march No it's cold and it's ever a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah There was a time when you'd let me know What's really going on below Oh but now you never show it to me, do ya? Oh but I remember yeah, when I moved in you And the holy dove she was moving too Yes and every single breath that went through us, Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Maybe there's a God above As for me all I ever seemed to learn from love Is how to shoot at someone who outdrew you Yeah but it's not a complaint that you hear tonight It's not the laughter of someone who claims to have seen the light No it's cold and it's ever a lonely Hallalujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel so I learned to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come all this way to fool you Yeah and even though it all went wrong I'll stand right here before the Lord of Song With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah

Sorry but I'd much rather listen to Leonard Cohen singing this - this version has cut out most of the verses and sounds so sanitised - and robs it of any meaning. It's a raw, almost agonised song - but I don't sense any of that in this version. This to me seems like it's just performed to show off the singers' voices, rather than to convey any emotion or meaning to the song itself.
