Cried like a baby at the funeral of 6 of my fallen comrades in Falklands war. This was played and made me feel proud to be a Scotsman. We were in our full Highland dress at the war cemetery in the Falklands. Sent a shiver down my spine

I missed the Falklands. I left the Royal Marines in 1980 after serving 10yrs between 42 and 45 Cmdo. I was gutted I missed it BUT, I shed a few tears when watching the fleet leave for the South Atlantic and I cried buckets when I heard that 4 of my oppo's lost their lives, even as I write this I am shedding tears.

Had this played at a homecoming ceremony having returned form Afghanistan back in 2012. Following the church service we then marched down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, which was packed; tourists, locals, I looked to my right and saw the All Blacks squad (they were there to play Scotland that weekend) the whole mile was rammed... just incredible. What a piece of music.

I lost my mom last year as a family we have no connections with Scotland but mom liked the sound of bagpipes and the flower of Scotland with a piper. Mom love Andre Reiu so highland cathedral seemed the perfect choice to play at her funeral.
