Er hat mit seinen Konzerten vielen tausenden von einfachen Menschen die Schoenheit dieser Musik vorgestellt, und wurde von den Puristen als Charlatan beschrieben, anstatt , als er sich selber sieht, als Entertainer .Sehe mal selbst die vielen positiven Kommentare, und zaehle wieviele Leute er damit gluecklich gemacht hat. Dafuer ist die Sopranistin erstklassig.OK?

Have it your way!. first of all this song is not from an opera but an operetta. Secondly Celine is the soloist in a choir and presents her part in the way the composer intended. And she does it well. She is not a diva singing an aria in an opera.

so, habe eine version auf youtube, sogar von herrn rieu, mit einer seiner sängerinnen -kimmy skota - gefunden. diese junge sängerin ist wunderbar. dann wirst du sicherlich den unterschied hören und vielleicht nachvollziehen was ich meine.

have just heard Kimmy Skokta sing the same song unfortuneatley there was a lot off echo indicating that it was an outdoor concert and didn't do Kimmy justice although I still think Celine has the stronger voice

Sorry, Blue eyes, I cannot agree with you. The Kimmy Skota version was recorded by a viewer and the Audio is atrocious, you cannot judge a singer by that kind of sound.I have the video of the New York Concert, and the Maastricht Concert where Kimmy sings the same song, and I definitely prefer the New York version with Celine.I suppose the musical tastes vary, but your original comment was rude and undeserved.

da wäre ich ohne deine hilfe nicht drauf gekommen.vielen dank. operetten werden in der regel immer von ausgebildeten opernsängern gesungen, nur mal so ganz nebenbei. aber lass es doch jetzt gut sein. du mußt halt akzeptieren, das du kein klassischer stimmkenner bist und gut ist.

ganz unabhängig von der schlechten tonqualität der einstellung, hat kimmy skota nach den prinzipien klassischen gesanges (nur danach vergleiche ich opernstimmen) die weeeesentlich frischere, unverbrauchtere und technisch bessere version abgegeben. das timbre bleibt immer geschmackssache. der gesang von celine bleibt , für mich, trotzdem sehr unangenehm im ohr und mein ursprünglicher kommentar hat seine absolute berechtigung.

ich stelle die berechtigung von andre rieu nicht in frage, auch wenn ich kein fan bin. er hat mit dieser sopranistin keine gute wahl getroffen. er hat andere damen die dem charakter des stückes wesentlich besser gerecht geworden wären. sie klingt, für mich , zeitweise wie eine jaulende katze.
