Magnificent. The first time I ever heard this piece was Andre Watts and Leonard Bernstein conducting the NY Philharmonic.

What a beautiful and powerful performance. Andre really communicates. So touching. The orchestra and conductor are first class as well. I am sure I will come back to enjoy this video, again and again. Bravo.

There are some pieces Andre Watts plays on a level that would be humanly impossible to surpass. This is one of them.

I prefer Sviatoslav Richter with The Paris Orchestra from 1969 Richter the most monumental and Best structure for music better than Watts! Edwin Fischer from 1942 Fischer the big Genius! Grigory Sokolov his Brahms no 2 had the Best piano sound better than Watts's sound! Sokolov his rhythmic vitalness is unbeatable better than Watts! Van Cliburn in 1962 Moscow stronger than Watts!!

So glad you are having a long illustrious career.. Andre is always one of my favorites.. he utilizes every note into a true artistic display of emotion, power, and melodic journeys that are still rare amongst concert pianists. This is just lovely..
