Andrae Crouch music was definitely a big part of the Jesus movement and Contemporary Christian music. He was so anointed by God to write and perform and what a great group he had and that distintive sound. I feel so blessed to have seen this group several times and witness many given thier life to Jesus. There so many great Christian groups that have been such a blessing but there will never be another Andrae Crouch . RIp Andrae with our Savior

Such a prophetic lyrical genius. What a blessing from the Lord to be able to write, arrange, sing, perform, preach, and produce. The anointing was in all of his music. One of the best pianists ever. May he enjoy being in the presence of our Lord 💕💕💕

I grew up Pentecostal....yet, this man's music has spoken to me through the ages... What a blessing.. but my favorite is "Take Me Back" because it brings me back to that little bedroom where I was praying and God came over me and I spoke in tounges for the first time. What a joy..what a blessing. I'm so thankful for the ministry of music.

His welcome into heaven that day was probably undescribable... All of heaven met him... His anointing was distinct and voice pure worship... His life reflected his passion and desire for the Lord... He said was truly a man of God for such a time as this... Prayers offered up for Saundra who is a mighty worrior for the Lord... Saundra if you read this know this that Andra and yourself music brought me through great trials Worshipping is a form of battle. It stops the enemy's devices... God bless you and your ministry...

I love this music and I dedicate it in its entirety to a very special person who is no longer part of my life, but I am left with the best, with the best memories, the best smiles, the best experiences and the most important thing will always be to pray for him. day by day is the most valuable thing I can give you from a distance, because my blessing will always carry you, I can only wish you the best in the world and I hope you never depart from the love of God and that you always seek it as one day you promised, I know that God allows everything for a reason and that's how it had to happen, never stop praying for the people you love even if they are far away

I first heard Andrea Crouch music in the 70s and thought and thought he had just ten songs. When I was hospitalized in 2018, I had the opportunity to search him out as I lay recovering for 1 month and found out that he had a ton of music. It was like heaven to me. I am sure that his spiritual input played a part in my healing and recovery. Thank God for such biblical songs and Christlike example.

A worship gift is an extraordinary thing: musical virtuosity and ability to improvise, but somehow without drawing attention to oneself. The worship minister sends us into the arms of Yeshua (Jesus). Andrae seems to view himself as a backup singer to Lead Vocalist the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!, I grew up singing Andare Crouch written music in Church back in St. Louis in a church with all colors of people worshipping YHWH together. "Don't let anyone ruin God for you." My Dad taught me that - he was founding pastor, the real deal. Many many many church attendees think they are saved, but there's nil evidence in their conduct of true repentance, activism, excitement to share the gospel, creativity to address needs in their community... The reason is most church attenders ain't saved. Folks, if you don't feel the Holy Spirit convicting you of your sin, don't have experiences where Christ is obviously speaking through you, if you don't see Him working miracles in you and through you to bless others, it's because you don't know the Father or His Son Jesus Christ. John 17:3 "Now this is eternal life that they may know You Father, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent."

Very Sobering thought. Let us all examine ourselves. Let God tell each of us the Truth about where we stand with Him. Being self-deceived will keep our earthly lives vain and without meaning. But it will put our eternal lives eternally in darkness and eternally apart from His Light. God wake us up. Lost.... and Saved alike.

I saw Andrae Crouch in Sacramento in a warehouse. I can’t remember what year. Late 70’s or early 80’s. My younger sister wanted to go see him. We didn’t have a seat, just stood in the doorway to the parking lot and watched. She passed in 2006.

......So here I find myself again in Norway with that beautiful but strong musical outfit known as ANDRAE CROUCH AND THE DISCIPLES .....!!!.... Once again I have been moved, ministered to and APPROPRIATELY entertained ..... Once again we say unto this 'Oldie-But-Goodie' .... "We love ya, we love ya, we love ya......more abundantly"'..........!!!.... LET'S STOP HERE BEFORE WE BECOME INAPPROPRIATELY LOST IN SELF CENTRED EMOTION AS OPPOSED TO BEING IN TOUCH WITH THE SPIRIT......!!!!!.......... Dear Drae-Drae (pronounced "Dray Dray"!)....baby (said in the holiest of ways!), baby.......once again..... Uncle cannot find the right nor adequate amount of words........ but only for good reasons, baby!! All the songs do indeed minister unto Uncle ........ but Uncle must single out the rendition of ................ "I SURRENDER ALL" ..... That whole minimalistic approach of just vocals and piano, with other musicians mostly on standby ...... and then only sparingly chipping in little sounds to just enhance the simple yet deep-reaching approach ....... for Uncle, it reaches him deeper than numbers that have more layers of sound, though he appreciates all the different ways of making and performing music and both the simple and the grand. UNCLE NEEDS SOME SOLO AND QUIET TIME , NOW!!! DO NOT QUESTION HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But he promises "IT WON'T BE LONG". Seriously, it will be "SOON AND VERY SOON"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. Dear Drae-Drae, though thou art departed, for thy diligence and perseverance through song in spreading GOD's love through the world ...... in the most Spirit-filled of ways ..... an eternally enduring Happy Valentines unto thyself and thy troupe !!!!!!!

WOW!!! Does this ever bring back memories of my young teen years when Andrae Crouch and his twin sister, Sandra and the Disciples not only came to Vancouver in a concert but they came to our church, Glad Tidings Church in Vancouver and it is a memory that we will always remember!!!! To this day, I still sing his signature song, The Blood will never lose its power and it is everyone's favourite song that I sing and play and I always say it is Andrae Crouch's original song from when he was 15 years old. I heard it was his 1st original song he ever wrote!!!

Yehhhh ! I well remember. Andrae and the Disciples did a concert Sat. Nite at the Q. E. , and Andrae arrived a day early in Vancouver, and didn't tell the disciples they'd go to G.T. Temple Sunday am, so it was a total surprise to everyone, and actually Andrae attended a G.T Temple Choir practise on Friday nite, so he was all pumped to have the choir and Andrae do some songs on Sunday am. that they rehearsed on Friday. I was a regular at G.T. so I escorted Andrae Friday, sat and sunday, and introduced him to the Choir who were ALL quite surprised that he'd show up at their practise, and accepted their invitation to do songs with them for the rest of the nite, and for him to show up Sunday am service was quiet a surprise. Andrae seldom needs to be coaxed, so every impromptue appearance is a "GO" with him, even tho some of the "Disciples' weren't too happy, as they wanted to sleep n Sunday a.m.
