Been there. Losing gear like gloves is rough but at least it wasn't a multi-day ascent requiring you to back track for it.

I saw another one of your videos climbing a frozen waterfall where you used ice axes. I keep thinking that if you lose one (or both) of your axes then you can get completely stuck - shouldn't the axes be tied to your body somehow?

How dangerous is the climbing? As a person unfamiliar to this kind of climbing it is hard to judge the angle, like in the worst case if you slip are you going to ragdoll for 30m or more and get seriously hurt or just slide down few meters at maximum and at most tweak an ankle?

Haven't used it before, but it looks pretty similar to the grivel machines, so can't go wrong with it :) And the adjustable little rest handle/ledge on the upper part is a nice addition.
