Andre bet on himself and his potential when starting his photography career. What is one way you’ve put yourself out there to achieve your personal, creative, or professional goals?

Incredible stuff, I’ve loved watching Andre’s career grow over the years. He deserves everything and more for the hard work he puts in. Love the MTV Cribs style intro as well lol
@TedKutina716 Жыл бұрын
The practicality of Andre's space is astounding, not really any major bells and whistles. I feel like too many studio tours on KZbin (mainly of like content-creators and influencers) try to flex the fancy desk setups and huge bougie white rooms and expensive equipment that sits unused on the shelf like a billionaire's car garage. This is the space of a true professional that cares about their craft.

As a retired photographer of over 60 years I came across your website and I'm very impressed, I had a dark room too but not like yours however mine was more like a hole in the wall in those days, your Black and White work is wonderful, I can see you put a lot of feeling into your photography before you shoot that makes a hole lot of difference. Cheers.👍👍👍

Aside from Wagner’s wonderful personality and talent (and his amazing studio!), I was struck by something that should be a teachable moment. Notice the photos he’s arranging for his exhibition. The vast majority of them are in landscape orientation. We see the world in landscape orientation. Wagner is a talented and accomplished photographer, and I’m sure those photos in portrait orientation were taken that way because the composition called for it. I’m so frustrated by those people who take so many of their photos in portrait orientation not because it's right compositionally, but because that’s what Instagram favours. To those people, please learn from masters like Wagner and be guided by composition and aesthetics, not by an application!

Really nice video, so thanks; I "liked and subcribed".. Just wondering why you basically gave potential burglars a 'hit list' of your equipment and exactly where to find it in your studio. Doesn't that worry you a bit? No criticism, just a thought.

How does he have all this money? Street photography doesn’t make any money.
@TheKetchupPacket Жыл бұрын
I think we are seeing him identify with his personal work which is street photography. But he's been doing other work as well. We know The New York Times and Rolling Stone had assignments he created work for. And this Gordan Parks Foundation Fellowship might have helped him focus on more personal work and tools.
