The first story we ever narrated by Andre Norton, All Cats Are Gray, was so popular that we decided to do another one of her stories as soon as possible.
I had never heard of the publication Fantasy Book which, like many publications of the time, didn't last long. Fantasy Book published 8 issues from 1947 thru 1951 and disappeared for more than 30 years with an issue in 1985 and another in 1986.

I cannot tell you how many times Andre Norton sent me all over the Universe with her stories since I discovered her when I was 13. She was the first SF author that totally captivated my imagination, and I credit her for my lifelong addiction to SF and Fantasy. This was a treat!

I can't find any other short stories that she wrote that are in the public domain but there's one that should be about 2 hours that we will do and another about 3 hours long. She may be the author who motivates us to do longer vintage science fiction stories. Finally! Someone is reviving Andre Norton! We got Heinlan, Asimov, Clark, Herbert, Roddenberry, HG Wells, Verne, hell even Ann Rand and EE Doc Smith! REPEATEDLY AD NAUSEAM and the only thing that represents Andre's work was a rendition of Beastmaster so poorly done that Norton didn't want anything to do with it! Zero Stone, Forerunner, Galactic Deralick, Witchworld, Storm over Warlock there is so much material in Norton's work and the World building she accomplished thru out her novels, often building on a landscape constructed and populated with consistent references throughout her works. Here's a thought for Hollywood that is so "Woke", how about mainstreaming a Revered Female Science Fiction Author! The Zero Stone and the 2nd novel "The Stars are ours" could be made into a mini series or a couple of feature films and least we forget, Forerunner shares background with The Zero Stone. We understand the owners of Hollywood do not want to pay scriptwriters, Actors, stage hands, or anyone else in the the business of actually making shows / movies; At least Andre has passed on so "they" (the owners) only have to deal with the Andre Norton Estate.
