Beautiful!! When my husband & I married, we dance our first dance to "Moon River". He always said we were 2 drifters off to see the world. WELL...36 years later he handed me an envelope with those words written on it. In it were 2 tickets to Ireland! Then, this year, on out 38th anniversary, he played Bocelli's "Moon River", gave me the SAME envelope. This time there were 2 tickets for London, Paris AND Iceland!! Thank you Andrea Bocelli for inspiring him!

I miss the beautiful elegance that exudes it this stunning rendition. The singing and the video are both so charming and the orchestration is spot on. Many people kill this song by going over the top. It needs to be kept fairly simple and the melody shouldn't IMO be changed as it is one of the most beautiful melodies ever constructed. RIP Henry Mancini, a composer who deserves much more accolades than he received. Has there ever been a more beautiful song than this one? Certainly the most romantic and well written. As Audrey said elegance is the only beauty that will never fade away. She was one amazing woman. When style was true and dignified. ohhh....

Simple: People who don't like anything about Andrea's singing know nothing about Opera. He has a pure musical talent the size of the Universe, and a band of grumpy, self-anointed, "real" opera fanatics dislike that he is a very popular singer in any style he may care to try. At least his big finale note for Nessun Dorma is a top C, not a top B, Pavarotti, sir, please note... And there are too many notes "real opera" tenors shorten because they just do not have the puff, while Andrea breezes through each note as the composer wrote, out of real respect for opera and for his own talent. I could write a full-size thesis on Andrea and the acid-hearted folk who hate him, but if you don't see where I am going with this by now you never will.

Tive alguns momentos inesquecíveis na vida. Um deles foi em Veneza, quando fui até o Dorsoduro procurando a Gelateria Dogde no Campo de Margherita que segundo informações tinha o melhor sorvete de llimão siciliano da Serenissima.
