Moon River Lyrics - Audrey Hepburn
Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.
Yo sigo tu camino.

This song is a balm. It reminds of years gone by when I, a teenager then, would sit in the living room with my mum and brother to watch the Andy Williams show, of which Moon River was the theme song. Such simple, uncomplicated times they were when I look at our confusing and dark world now spinning out of control. How I long for those times, when a man was a man, and a woman a woman. And the news was credible. There was more truth than lies. But we are now cast away from our foundations.

I was born in 1982. I am a throwback to women like Audrey Hepburn and let me tell you it is very hard for me to fit in anywhere. I don't want to be angry but I feel angry because I am alone in my life and it's not right. I am very much like Audrey Hepburn-fragile, beautiful, elegant, charming. It's hard to be that way in the world which sadly has no values. I miss my grandmother's and the family I used to have. My life is not the sane anymore. There don't seem to be any answers anymore to happiness, not even in the church. People are not real, genuine, and honest anymore.

Stephen, thank you for your kind words. I am feeling much better. I've always worn my heart on my sleeve. It is such a wonderful, sensitive film, acting of the Golden Era. George Peppard is equally wonderful, has great chemistry on screen with Audrey. I'm actually a singer and I love singing the title song for people who appreciate it. I also love her in Charade with Cary Grant. It doesn't get any better than a beautiful score and elegant beauty on the big screen! Blessings, Kelly

What does Moon River mean? Moon River is about looking to the future and the past simultaneously. The river represents time and the journey from start to finish. It's about the journey of life. The lyrics composer, Johnny Mercer, wanted to write about his home in the south of the USA where he lived by the water.

I fell in love with hepburn from that song she sings in the film and yet the producers not thinking she was good enough to do it and it's the simplicity and not perfect rendition is what made that part so great and effective. I know exactly what you mean; I think Audrey Hepburn was fabulous, dignified, down-to-earth, with class oozing from her pores. Sometimes, these days, it seems a bit harder to find the good around us but it is there; there's just a helluva lot more noise. The 50s and 60s (and every other decade) also had major societal failures just as today. I think, you can still find people in the entertainment biz and elsewhere, of both genders, with class and dignity.

Moon River Lyrics - Audrey Hepburn Moon River, wider than a mile, I'm crossing you in style some day. Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker, wherever you're going I'm going your way. Two drifters off to see the world. There's such a lot of world to see. We're after the same rainbow's end waiting 'round the bend, my huckleberry friend, Moon River and me.

God has given His children a cure for cancer, do NOT let the devil tell you otherwise !!! If you have cancer you need to cut out the “processed sugar,” as they take sugarbeet which has some nutrition in it, they put it through a factory process, removing the nutrition, processed sugar is known as “Dead energy.” Cancer feeds on sugar. KZbin video: Beating Cancer: How Cutting Sugar Reversed One Man's Death Sentence. Watch these KZbin videos, you will be amazed at how people were cured from cancer, with “Hemp Oil.” Hemp is a God given “HERB”..... Psalm 104:14. He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and HERBS for the service of man, that he may bring forth food out of the earth. Videos: Run From The Cure. This movie, actors and music, depicts a moment in time, when America had something to offer the world, and we know the time was never perfect, but compared to now, there was a semblance of hope. What happened to the human race.
