My wife is 8 months pregnant and today while driving she was in a terrible head-on collision. Her car was pushed 15 meters while she was inside. I was a young dresser working on Phantom of the Opera when it opened in 1987, and I was just 17. Sarah Brightman used to give me a beautiful smile as she waited to go on stage at the start of the show. I've only just realised writing this that I was the last person she was with before starting her performance every night. And she always gave me a beautiful long smile. She never came over to me, and I never went over to her, and neither of us ever said a single word. She just smiled forever and then went on stage. I will never forget your smiles. Thank you, Sarah.
