A long time aho, when I was merely 16, I fell in love for the first time. It was scary, because I'm a girl and she's a girl and I've never thought of it quite like that. She became my first girlfriend at around the same time I fell in love with Andreas's poetry. That period of being so vulnerable, feeling these emotions and coming out to my homophobic parents was the hardest part of my life, and my love at the time was so amazing... She went to London, and came back with a present. It was The Madness vase. She put in a signature. The book saved my life, to be honest, it was my way out of my home and a way of feeling closer to my lover. Eventually we broke up, and she was the one who gave you a thimble with her then partner, now wife, at a show in Berlin a few years ago, (which you posted on instagram and I fangirled for 3 days over that post). I still adore your poetry, I'm still grateful for my first love, because it all brought me where I am now. With my beautiful fiance with whom I've been together 5 and a half years, our 5 beautiful cats in our forever home. Thank you, Andrea, for you have saved a life of a very lost young lesbian, and helped me find my freaking way. ❤️

7 minutes and 25 seconds in. is the exact same reason why I to started memorizing my own material years ago. My mind would go faster than my eyes line of reading. So most of the time, I would sound like I have grown into a stutter Midway and I don't stutter. Even though sometimes when I get nervous I try to keep my knees from feeling like my belt and buckle after they shake like earthquakes. I would be in my apartment drunk and late nights I would pace. Find that space inside myself and go to some other place. Far way. Allowing my memory to take a whiskey walk Down the Memorie lines of my notebook until i could see every word. The same way every one else, red the street sgins buneath the street lights until the found there way home again. It is now 5:17 a.m. the star poem running self. I haven't written in years

As a little bit Lakota, could you explain the thanks taking joke to me? This isn't a cancel trap. Trust me, I love dark humor. Just seems like the punch line could use some work, because it just seems racially deaf for a people very marginalized. If I missed a cue or a bit, let me know. But like I said, I stopped paying attention at the end of the reservation joke, (and started writing this with my education of my environment, and rampant ADHD, so it was difficult to write and listen). So if I need to more, context. Let me know. I had a difficult time focusing on 2 things. Maybe you are comparable to David Chappelle in his latest latest special, in that you got me salty, before understanding the art. Before I heard the bit that marginalized native Americans. While the starved on the day, have lunch meat turkey with dry mashed potatoes. Sorry for your grandfather passing, hope he was one of the good guys. And taught his children history.
