Kaylen’s singing is so soothing, and her guitar playing feels very integrated into the poem. I love them performing together. Hearing Andrea read their poems, I’m always captivated. This poem is beautiful, I imagine it will be resonating with lots of us right now, as we start to process the last few months, and think about the times we’ve been in need, and the times we’ve been needed.

Andrea Gibson has saved my life every single day since she first told me what her Yogi said. She introduced me to Pema and Pema gave me Loving Kindness and a Diamond Vehicle. Every single day since she first taught me to "focus on the outbreath", Andrea Gibson has been my "Angel of the Get Through".

The second she utters the first verse of the poem, my eyes well up with tears. The last few years have been hell.

This poem made me sob for two hours straight. I had to call my boyfriend because I didn't feel safe being alone. Sometimes poetry hits you so hard you don't know if you'll ever be able to breathe the same again, and Andrea certainly has a knack for that. I've been following her stuff for years and it's definitely changed me as a person. Thank you, Andrea. I will survive.

Hearing this piece feels like a small air pocket in the cavernous abyss that is depression. For just a few mere moments I am able to gasp a breath before having to re-submerge down into the depths and seek out the next air pocket through the darkness, uncertain if I’ll make it or expire; unsure which of those eventualities I would prefer.

I remember I found this and I thought it was nice but I didn’t fully understand it. Now that understand it, now that I need it I can’t express how grateful I am for having it here.

_"You feel unsafe, you feel unsafe"_ If I ever ran into this woman, her 'safety' would be paramount to me. I'm presuming that once achieved, she may stop.

I sent another video of this to a friend who has to move from her house and is having a hard time with it. I did that earlier this year. She said this was exactly what she was feeling and she could imagine it was how I felt too. This has a permanent place on a playlist in my phone. Love and peace and acceptence people.

When people ask me who my idols are you're on the list. Andrea Gibson comes to my mind but I only say it sometimes.. I dont want to explain who I am to people by explaining who you are. And that scares me..
