How to paint a simple beach in watercolor!

Painting the beach in watercolor can be super simple! This beginner-friendly tutorial will walk you through everything you need to know, and hopefully you'll be able to take what you learn and come up with your own amazing beach compositions!
Supplies all came from my shop (www.adreamoradayart.com/water..., but any brand will work!
Sketchbook (You could just use watercolor paper)
Student Paint Set
Size 10 and 6 round brushes
Artist tape
Artist pen

I have been watching your videos for a while. I love everyone of them. The ghost portrait is my fav. I finally got the courage to buy watercolor paint and paper. This Beach was the first real thing I attempted I tried birch trees, then just played with the colors and did a bunch of hearts. This one came out the best. the birch trees are good too; but My birds need lots of work lol. Thank You for putting yourself out there for others. You are indeed a light.

I did this the other day after seeing you on instagram! My tape ripped a V into the paper just below the horizon line, so I turned it into a seagull! Kinda proud of my first seascape! 💖

I decided to do this twice. I just bought my first watercolor set this week (12 colors), and this is my first project in my journal. I think I've learned something each time, and I'm trying different colors. Maybe I'll do it twice more and then try something new

Thank you for showing us how to have fun with watercolors. I teach crafts for ladies as therapy and stress relief. One class is older moms raising grandkids, they really need to have fun and feel successful. This beach will be simple and easy for everyone. I used your pet portrait idea, printed a clipart of the Lion and the Lamb. I had them do the wavy lines and paint. They chatted and teased and had so much fun..and most important felt good about themselves and proud to display their artwork. I'm planning projects for three different groups and your videos are an invaluable resource for us teachers. THANK YOU

I'd like to see a beach with grayish sand and rocks and driftwood. The ocean beaches in our state (WA) don't have tan or white sand and there's very little grass until you head inland. But we have a plethora of rocks and driftwood!

Lesson learned today (my second attempt at watercolor). You can NOT water color outside in Florida. The paint dries almost before it touches the paper. 😂
