In all honesty they should gotten a penalty kick, Luis Suarez shouldn't have continued playing. Maybe the outcome would have been more different and Italy could have rightfully moved on to the round of 16.

Bend Em "Best" has many definitions, blah blah blah etc. That all behind, Pirlo is the smartest and thus most stylishly creative modern player Italy has ever produced in my opinion. Put it this way: Totti is a specimen, a machine. Pirlo is an artist, a composer. Its one thing to imagine some of the passes and moves he tries; quite another to have the skills to follow through and actually do them. In game. At full speed. When a winner's medal is on the line. My greatest Italian team would include Buffon, Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro, Pirlo, Del Piero, Baresi, Baggio, Zola, Inzaghi, Totti.
