This is a show performance, not a competition and as such unlike Helge I don't care a hoot about perfect technique. I'm more interested in how it makes me feel and this makes me feel like the day I fell in love with my wife. An unforgettable feeling. Musically, emotionally, artistically this is gorgeous. Technically, who cares when you have this kind of artistic beauty.

This is the video we have waited for and I have asked for. This new Blackpool winning couple danced a superb waltz in the semifinal and final in Moscow to excellent music, and advanced to become runners up to Arunas and Katusha at this World Professional Championship. Their timing and technique were excellent. In this Millennium waltz I don't think the music helps them. The timing is often not good, even from the important start, about half a minute from the beginning of music (whisk, Chasee, Natural Turn, etc.). This is extremely unusual for this star couple. The music is why ! Apart from that, parts of this show is excellent beyond belief, with fluidity, musicality, romance, and coordination man-lady and brilliant dancing of lady's head and back at times. I do hope they recover the World Championship waltz (and music) so that they can win this fall.
