This was so awesome! Weaving is very intimidating to me, but your narration made it seem so approachable and I could tell you enjoyed the process. Your garment is stunning!!

😍😍😍Very beautiful piece.. very beautiful art. If it had been to sell, I've wanted the whole piece.. no cuts. I just imagined a beautiful shawl, a wrap skirt or blouse..

I love this idea and the finished product! I have such a bad habit of keeping every little scrap even if I don't know what to do with it, but this is an inspiration to make something with them!

I have loved every video/vlog you have ever done but this one is just incredible! Sustainability is near and dear to my ♥️ You saved beautiful yarn scraps from a landfill and have an amazing jacket to show for it. I’m about to put a 30 meter pre-wound warp onto my Saori loom (inspired by your 30 meters in 30 days video) Now I know what to do with all my yarn scraps. Well done🙌🏼♥️🙌🏼

I do the exact same thing with all my loom waste and random scraps from different projects by making a giant ball and then weaving with it. It's so fun to see the random patterns and colors and nothing is ever wasted! I like seeing what you have made with your random bits and pieces!

it's simple but so so effective!!! this is what I love about saori weaving that you can go crazy mixing different fibres and textures and it somehow just works together. i also love that you can use up such small lengths that would otherwise go to waste. thank you for rescuing these samples and giving them a new life!

It’s marvelous! While watching this, the insert fabric for a coat I’m working on is in its PFD washout! I had a realization yesterday, that by switching the insert pieces, I can get the turquoise and blues into it that were lost in the initial LWl dye process!

What a great idea! I am still a fairly new weaver, and I am surprised that so many different types of yarns can be woven together successfully. I have a wide variety of yarns in my stash that I would love to use them up in various weaving projects. How will you care for your jacket in the future? Will you just hand wash and lay it flat to dry, or will it be machine washable? Thank you.

Learn the weavers knot and you can't tell it's their. Some do the box knot so it won't come loose.

Checked out that recycle website. Note to interested parties, it costs you $2 per to DONATE your fabric. They make NO mention a credit of $2 towards any future purchase. They also have quite high prices for yardage that was given to them for free. Guess they won't be getting my 1000# plus of fabrics. (Former custom, designer/tailor-retired.)

If you’re weaving these as weft you don’t need to add these nasty knots! Just weave them in. But I think this is gorgeous!
