It was at my mom’s funeral, too. It was our song. I could never remember the name of this song as a kid, so I said “from now on, I’m going to call this song “that one song!” and you’ll know what I mean.” So as a kid I’d always ask “mom, can you play that one song?” When it played at her funeral, it was one of 2 times in life I’ve seen my dad break down crying- the other when the dog “he never wanted” died in my arms. Forever grateful for this piece of art and I’m glad there’s others out there that associate it with their late parent, it’s a beautiful tribute!

Quando sono sola Sogno all'orizzonte E mancan le parole Si lo so che non c'è luce In una stanza quando manca il sole Se non ci sei tu con me, con me Su le finestre Mostra a tutti il mio cuore Che hai accesso Chiudi dentro me La luce che Hai incontrato per strada Time to say goodbye Paesi che non ho mai Veduto e vissuto con te Adesso si li vivrò Con te partirò Su navi per mari Che, io lo so No, no, non esistono più It's time to say goodbye Quando sei lontana Sogno all'orizzonte E mancan le parole E io si lo so che sei con me, con me Tu mia luna tu sei qui con me Mio sole tu sei qui con me Con me, con me, con me

If Matteo follows his father's steps, I will be the happiest human on earth. This voice having a legacy is a gift to humanity! ❤ Andrea Bocelli & Matteo Bocelli Con Te Partirò. Sublime!

I'll give you a translation then! When I'm alone And I dream on the horizon And I'm lost for words (/And words fail) Yes I know that there's no light In a room when the sun is gone If you are not with me, with me At the windows Show everyone my heart That you set alight Enclose within me The light that You encountered on the street. With you I'll leave Countries that I've never Seen and lived with you Now yeah, with you I'll live them with you I'll leave Sealing with vessels on seas That, I know No, no, don't exist anymore. With you I'll live them. When you are far away I dream on the horizon And I'm lost for words (/And words fail) And yes, I know That you are here with me, with me You, my moon, you're here with me My sun you're here with me With me, with me, with me With you I'll leave Countries that I've never Seen and lived with you Now yeah, I'll live them With you I'll leave Sealing with vessels on seas That, I know No, no, don't exist anymore With you I'll live them again With you I'll leave Sealing with vessels on seas That, I know No, no, don't exist anymore With you I'll live them again With you I'll leave With you That's the best I could do, but it's not bad at all ahahahahaha

The first time I heard this song in a movie called "wanted" at the scene where the MC kills an Italian guy on car while doing a car side roll flip, I've been searching this song since then, it took me 14 years to finally find it, now I can be happy and smile about this masterpiece
