love every single video about C1. I was wondering if you can make a video about showing your workspace, the tabs, tools and the typical flow of your editing process. kinda like a "How I edit my photos in C1" video but updated. I watched your Skillshare class and boy oh boy it has changed my life, it was a bit tough to migrate from my old structure but it was 110% worth it, so organized and clean workflow. Thank you for making such useful content! Cheers!

Thanks so much for the comment, this is so great to hear! For 2023, I've already drafted some ideas for new videos and this might be an interesting one. Thanks for the input! Can I ask you a favor? If you can spare a minute to share your experience by leaving me a review in the "Reviews section" on Skillshare I’d be super grateful. Genuine insights from committed students like you help me improve my courses, and help others photographers like you feel confident about joining the class. Thanks so much! 😀 Ciao

Nice how you use the Smart Adjustment. I did also experience that it is more smart to add the style after apply the Smart Adjustment, just because the style will change the true white balance.

@@AndreaLivieriPhoto Oh, nice to hear that! I was just about buying the original presets from capture one, but now I´m wating for your styles pack. I mean, it already IS „early 2024“, right? 😊 I really do like your videos on capture one and finding a good composition, you are very inspiring, mate! Distinti saluti!

For the sunlit shots, you’re awfully close to using what amounts to Kodak Gold 200… Try the recipes for Fuji for it, you’ll see. The other cooler sunset shots… I think Fuji classic chrome or Pro Negative would be awesome

Hi Andrea, Thanks for your videos on capture one! Just wanted to ask whether you sell your styles as a pack? The intent would not be to copy your styles but use as a base for my own and help me learn along the way. If not, could you point me in the direction of style packs you'd recommend? Thanks
@AndreaLivieriPhoto Жыл бұрын
Julian, thank you very much for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Unfortunately, I don't have any style packs on sale right now. Apart from the styles that Capture One offers on its website, it is hard for me to recommend anything. Honestly, there is not much on the market that I quite like. That's why I designed my own styles. Ciao :)

@@AndreaLivieriPhoto Hi mate, thanks for the fast response. Sad to hear about the presets but I'm sure I'll survive. Do you ever do photography workshops in the Southern Hemisphere?

Nope, not yet. Antarctica and South Africa are on the radar 😉

Great video, as usual 👍 this new way to edit and your way to explain awake in me a huge potential of creativity. More than a technical tool, it is an awesome tool for giving an artistic identity to a serie of photos (personnaly, my next level to perform in photo) and this tool will help me a lot.

Fantastic work and explanation!! One question. Do you always edit your images on a white background? Why don’t you choose the default one? I wondered changing it to white myself lately since sometimes my images turn out a bit too dark sometimes and I think the bright background helps with that. Keep up your amazing tutorials!
@AndreaLivieriPhoto Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. As for the background, I usually switch between mid-grey and white. With a mid-grey background, I can see how the tones relate to each other, while a white background is very handy for evaluating a final product for a website (or any social media with a white background) or for printing. Sometimes you may want to adjust the global exposure accordingly. I hope this helps :) Ciao
@nils_85 Жыл бұрын
@@AndreaLivieriPhoto thanks so much!! So is midgray the default or is that one darker?
@AndreaLivieriPhoto Жыл бұрын
The default is the one darker

Some nice new features but unfortunately, nothing significant that would warrant an upgrade since even upgrade costs are just a tad too high. Otherwise nice tutorial.
