I was super excited about the video and the deck until half way through the first game of the first match when the opponent dropped a one ring, then I was reminded why I don't watch modern content anymore :D

"Midrange" Looks inside Only 1 and 2 drops. Modern is weird.

Kroxa is kind of a 4 drop.

the difference is interaction imo this deck wants to cast Thoughseize/Unholy Heat early aggro leans more towards actual 1-drop threats

you could play the same decklist as more of an aggro deck. play dragon's rage channeler out on turn one instead of holding it for value. in the last game of this vid, play out arena and kroxa on three so you can haste and attack on turn four.

Seems odd that people wouldn’t watch a video just because you play the one ring. Like “oh no he’s playing a magic card in his magic videos”

I think part of it is the feeling it’s going to get banned soon and if you’re looking for a deck to buy into it doesn’t make sense.
