Love some Murky, but with Harbinger of the Seas you might want 2 mountains, not only for your Harbinger but any your opponents might play before you can search your own. Or I'm just extra cautious. Though I think Tamiyo's creature side is stronger giving you clues over several turns, which you can crack using mana you held up for a Counterspell you didn't need to cast. But her Walker side is definitely still very very good. She's also much much easier to flip than I thought thanks to Bauble. For some reason I'm really interested in Murktide Wizards for Flame of Anor right now, I thought Tamiyo would be fantastic for that type of build and replace Sleep-Cursed Faerie, but it looks to me that the Sleepy Boi's Ward 2 is actually a WAY bigger advantage than I thought seeing how often Tamiyo's getting removed on sight. Makes me wanna say a split of Tami's and Sleepys, probably removing Mutavaults entirely (if the individual's list played them in the first place). And Snapcaster get's countered really hard post sideboard with Hearse or similar, delirium also gets hurt but not as hard as Snapcaster as DRC still has it's surveil trigger and Unholy Heat can at least hit for 2, which is bad but still useable. Sadly (for me and my feelings) I think normal Murktide is better than Murktide Wizards. It seems generally weaker, and Flame of Anor doesn't seem to help to much. Though a couple copies of Anor could be playable in normal Murktide if Tamiyo and Harbinger are permanent additions to the deck. _Maybe I just like the alt art to much and want to try pushing it in the deck._

Hey Mengu! Why dont people play underworld breach in the boros amulet shell? Seems great to me but maybe i'm missing something. I guess you dont want to cascade into it with the raptor?

want to ask about affinity with tamiyo, During combat, i attack with Kappa and Tamiyo, Tamiyo will create a Clue which is an artifact. Will it trigger Kappa ability to make it gain +1/+1 and unblockable?

Kinda surprised you don’t play Ral, I know most of the instants/sorceries have only colored pips but getting a pretty large planeswalker later and pinging Ragavans and Bowmasters seems pretty good. Plus it would allow for instants and sorceries that are a little bit more expensive I’m new to actually deck building but this was what I was thinking

In my opinion the biggest downside of Ral in Murktide is that his front side static and his back side +1 almost always do absolutely nothing. Ofc you could play more expensive spells when he sticks, but he probably won't stick most of the time like ragavan and Tamiyo. Loosing ragster or Tamiyo immediately is sad, but loosing Ral with 2 expensive spells in hand will propably loose you the game.

In Game 1 Round 2 I guess you could've killed your DRC with Unholy Heat in response to the Flip, to remove their only target creature. That wouldn't have been an autowin, but would've increased the chance to survive. 😅 Next turn Murktide + Crew Hearse would've won then.

I feel like everyone (including you) is severely under rating Tamiyo's back side. Jace, Vryn's Prodigy was once playable in modern and Tamiyo is very close to that card but powered up to keep up with the modern format in its current form. Flipping with basically just a bauble, to plus to 4 loyalty as early as turn 2? Crazy. And her minus doesnt exile the spell/give it flashback, it straight up re-buys it to use on a different turn. Jace played poorly with countermagic. Tamiyo doesn't. Seriously. Flip her everytime you get the chance.
