Andreas, I have been listening to your music since 1986. Your music helped stave off depression when I was in a Submarine for months at a time during my Navy years. Since then I have continued to be inspired, and now am purchasing my first harp to try to emulate some of your techniques at the age of 56. Do you offer anything that may be helpful in this journey? I don't know how he does it, but his reverb and depth of sound seem to be the best in the Harp Industry. His compositions and technical capability are simply masterful, but the thing I don't understand is how the timber and tone of his Harp playing blows everything else away.

I can't say enough about him (Andreas Vollenweider) he goes deep within my heart and soul and the best that I can do is to share him and his band with everyone that I love and everyone that I can possibly share my appreciation for them, my first introduction was 1987 Down to the Moon album, and I was hooked ever since, at a bar with a young lady and the music stop my conversation, and I had to inquire as to who was that playing, the bartender told me it was some guy from Switzerland, I then had to look into the jukebox, the rest is history! The next morning I went out and I bought everything that I can get my hands on!, and I continue to do that till this day! I feel that his heart soul and mind has been touched by God himself, his music, his philosophies etc

In 1988 I thought there wasn't much left of my life...I had gotten a divorce with 3 children. I was sitting in the Painted Desert north of Winslow, AZ. on a hot summer day peering out into the vastness of the desert. Someone had given me a CD which I had never heard of or ever played preferring rock n roll. I reached in the carrying case and inserted your 'Winds' CD--listening to every song, and over and over into a trance. I decided then and there I wasn't giving up life!!!
