Omg you literally just saved my life! Especially with the 2nd technique with the paper towels! Thank you so much! I have recently been FAILING with braiding my hair to make it wavy/curly and more voluminous. I have natural stick straight hair, and the only thing I achieve from the messy braids overnight is really thick hair ( which I love ). Butttt, after my sister braided my hair the correct way and I left it in overnight and woke up with AMAZING curls, I can’t stop thinking about it. If this works like it did in the video, I officially don’t need to be insecure about my hair anymore! Thank you so much again! Update: I did the second technique. It didn’t do ANYTHING. I’m extremely disappointed. I spent 40 minutes doing just the second technique to get dents in my hair and to thinner hair. I might try it again but don’t count on it. I already tried the first technique but it didn’t work either.

Rewrap the braid a few times throughout the process so it helps define curls and dries the hair. If you have problems with them falling out throughout the day, use mousse or hairspray in your braid so when you take them out they last. Been doing this hairstyle for a long time and this is what works for me.

It confuses me that we have the exact same curly hair but when your hair was brushed it went straight without any wave or curl like mine when it's wet then you blowed dried it and it was perfectly straight . How does that work ? 😂

No curly hair is exctly the same. I hace curly/wavy hair and before I scruch it when it is wet it is completely straight and I have no heat damage. The curlier your hair is the more it retains the curls even when wet.
@NoXemaSims9 жыл бұрын
If I don't brush my hair when it's wet, it air dries curly. If I DO brush it when it's wet, it air dries wavy and blow dries straight. I think it depends on hair texture and stuff. My hairs kinda... Malleable? I guess? Lol idk but it's pretty easy for me to switch between straight/wavy/curly. Depends on the person.

I used the paper towels one and it was SO effective. I got compliments all day. When I finished putting in all the napkins I just wrapped my head with a silk scarf

These are 3 great methods! I just learned of the first twist back style and have been doing that with great results every time. I stink at doing hair, but love a little curl and volume. Now I can finally do it and not ruin my hair. Thank you :)

I find throughout the day the waves fall out if you do not use hairspray or re-wrap the braid a few times throughout the process. Depending on which hair type you have. (She has similar texture to mine) Wash your hair and wrap it in the braid wet and wear your hair in the braid for 8-24 hours. The longer you keep the braid in the better the results and will create a long-lasting curl. Re-do the braid a couple times throughout (to help dry or mold curls) , and spray your braid with hairspray when your hair is dry or use mousse when wet and disperse throughout the braid so when you take it out the curls will last. I’ve been doing this hairstyle forever so I’ve mastered a technique that works with my hair. The results are awesome I totally recommend using product and a lengthier time process when it comes to braid curls
