If anyone replaced an ok and readable switch statement into a bunch of virtual classes & functions with a lookup table, I would have forked right then and there.

That stuff is still a thing at Google. I was working there for almost a year, and it made me go nuts. And probably made me doubt myself more than it should have. I had some rather long discussions with other engineers there about the sense / nonsense of just abstracting things to death. The funny thing is they even have readability reviewers, and they are sometimes the ones who want to force you to do this stuff...

@@Atabascael In a odd way its kinda funny that google has readability QA people and its even funnier that they push this kind of stuff sometimes :^) :shrug: Anyway working for google sounds neat tho, did you enjoy your time working for them at least?
