Jose was jealous of Wenger cos he was qlway criticized for not playing "good football" and Arsenal was always a reference point. When he came in, Arsenal were invincible champions. The benchmark. He won the league and beat Arsenal many times but could never shake off that jealousy cos no matter how how well he did, Wenger's job at Arsenal was always more secure than his own. As good as he was, he always got fired when he failed to win cos his style of football is only tolerable if it comes with trophies. Otherwise you're gone.
@langletprolet83788 ай бұрын
Arsenal being “reference point” already dead after no progress since 2008. The true reference point will always be Sir Alex, and he didn’t need to play beautiful football to win all those leagues. Jose could’ve easily stayed at Chelsea for more years if the owner wasn’t Roman Abramovich, unlike the Arsenal owners. And he wasn’t fired at Inter. In Real Madrid, good football or not good football, you’re out if you don’t have the results so it wasn’t about his style.
