@@MrRocca He's a legend, but he's been phoning it in for a decade, just out there collecting a check. Not willing to retire because he's collecting 6 figure checks for some time by having light sparring matches against less than stellar heavyweights. I never understood why he never really used his sombo skills too much. Only 3 submission wins and never tries to get the fight to the ground nor standing subs either. He just relied on boxing/kickboxing, even though he had a lot of bad defensive habits with his footwork; backing up in straight line when pressued like Luke Rockhold and head movement.

Really wish we could’ve got announcement or something. UFC 55 was my first fight card. Him and Joe Riggs made me love the sport. I love me some Andre Arlovski. In his prime, he was something else. It's difficult for me to watch him fight, as he ages, because he loses to guys that he would've absolutely KO'd in his prime. He still wants to fight, but I'd hoped that he would retire for good. As a side note, he was fantastic in a TV episode of Bully Beat Down. All the best to you, Andre!

I always wondered what his career trajectory would have been if he didn't get careless at UFC 59 and didn't rush into the upper cut from Big Timmy when trying to finish him. He was just on the cusp of being a break out star when the UFC was exploding in PPV in 2006. Possible he could have gotten a couple more title defenses in back the really making a bigger name. That UFC 59 fight really messed up his confidence afterwards and then he was pretty much toast after the Fedor loss though eventually got some traction later.

Did any of the UFC fighters put up the money to start the business? The UFC was 42 million dollars in debt and almost done. Telling somebody else how to run their business is just comical. You should start your on promotion and pay the fighters whatever you like....A contract is between two parties. If the fighters don't like the pay, they should find another promotion..

That last fight was in the top 5 most boring fights that I have ever witnessed--it was painful to watch, but it was very similar to the way you have been fighting for at least the last 5 years. Your fights of late are like dancing more than fights, I don't see hardly any action, just clinching and sparing type boxing (snoozefest). Hey man, I was a fan in the 2000's when you would go hell for leather, but now its horrible to watch.
