It’s lovely how prepared you are. But I don’t think that you’ll be using most of those things. My baby is now 2 and still refuses to wear pants or shoes. We rarely leave the house. So it’s pajama day, every day. 😂 Almost 99% of the clothing I bought for her has been donated to single, unemployed moms. That’s everything. Toys, shoes, clothes, food, etc. I thought it was one size fits all when it came to babies. My son was easy. But my daughter is the exact opposite. I now go day by day because I’ve wasted enough money so far. You’ll catch on quickly. Also, babies can really only see black & white clearly, at first. So mobiles with just B&W are much more stimulating to them. Best wishes to your little family. 💜

Thanks for sharing! My baby is now 9 months old and I can say I've used 95% of what I ended up buying! I only have a few regrets such as the flannel swaddles (didn't use any since I had a summer baby and she outgrew the swaddle quickly!) and I barely used any of the breast milk storage bags. Luckily I'm able to give what I didn't use to friends who are expecting, as well as donating! It's definitely a big learning curve as a first time mom!

Congrats! Call your health insurance, you should be able to get an electric pump for free

Thank you! Yes you're right, I think a lot of health insurance plans cover it. I have been using the manual pump so far three times a day and it's been really easy. Should I switch to exclusively pumping one day I will look into an electric one, but so far the manual has been working well and doesn't even take much time to pump out a bottle :)
