My baby shower is coming up and we are doing pot luck theme & I put on my shower invitations please bring a separate meal in freezer safe container for me to freeze! My freezer is about to be packed and gives me peace of mind I won’t have to think about cooking till I’m ready :) my shower is mainly all older ladies from my church and they cook amazing food and love to cook. Looking forward to seeing what they create for us 🤗

I sure could have used something like this 46 years ago when my son came via unexpected C-section. I never was around little kids, never around other women having babies so I was completely in the dark . I also didn’t have a good relationship with my mom and I think having her around would have been more stressful. Unfortunately we lived in a 2 bedroom trailer with very small rooms so it was difficult to have anyone come stay with us. To make matters worse we were in an area that was extremely isolated and very far from the military base we were stationed at. I would have had to go through another C-section for a second child and that was something I know I couldn’t take. My baby making days came to a screeching halt after #1. Congratulations on #4! May God bless and keep your family in safety and peace! Blessings on this new little wonder so fearfully and wonderfully made.

I did the exact same meal prep for 1 months worth 36 years ago with baby 3. Makes life so much easier if you don’t have to stress over what to eat if there are healthy meals ready to go.

I loved this video! As a pregnant mom of a bunch of littles I love watching this type of videos but most are of first or second time moms who are sweet but focus on details I don’t have time for anymore. Your prep is more relatable and practical so very fun to watch.

This is the video I needed! I am due with #4 in November. I have a 7, 5, and almost 3 year old. Majority of the yt videos on prepping are moms with one or two kids which is great but I'm in a different season. Thank you so much for this! I had the same baby dresser/changing table for my son back in 1985, he still has it and has used it for his son. Best purchase ever! It went as part of his "grow with you" crib.

I am having a fifth in early December. With each baby I though I got everything figured out but then something new always came up. Last baby had a horrible rash that wouldn't go away for two weeks despite all the 30 different creams I tried. Finally Honest all purpose balm healed him within days. I am like you I just focus on essentials. We always had a one story house so it made everything a bit easier.

Oh my. I'm preparing (very slowly!) for my first. 21 weeks atm. I had no idea quite how much is needed. Anticipated all the things for baby, but not for myself postpartum! Already struggling with where to put everything after wardrobe removal and assembling new ones, being in a relatively small house with Mum and our shared ton of art/craft etc supplies! I brought my own swaddle with baby #3 and got weird looks from the nurses but I didn't care because I was not going to toy with that tiny hospital blanket anymore! I'm doing it again with #4, due in 6 weeks. I'm doing much the same things you are. Setting up for baby #4 is less about arranging cute baby things and more about setting up my house and routines so a baby can easily fit right in to our flow. Good luck on your delivery!

If you wrap rubber bands around both sides of wipes they come out one at a time and the more wipes u use it will push package tighter so you know when u low on wipes

Blackout curtains: They make "travel " blackout panels that adhere to the window frames using velcro or window stickers. They DO block all light by themselves. Surprisingly, they ost less than actual blackout curtains.

I’m about to have my 5th baby in 11 years and this video was so helpful! I completely forgot about postpartum care. 😂 Which is the same mistake I made with my first baby. Having tucks, pads and a peri bottle in the bathroom before you go to the hospital makes coming home so much easier. Also, having changing supplies and snacks next to where ever you’re going to camp out in your first few days is so helpful. I load up my nightstand with nipple cream, spit rags, diapers, wipes and SNACKS! The first week after you get home can be peaceful and relaxing or you can be running back and forth from the nursery to the kitchen to your bedroom. Set yourself for a great postpartum experience before you head to the hospital!

I drive a Honda Pilot, and I have 5 car seats in it. My 10-year-old is out of car seats, so he rides in the fold down seat, the Diono Radian 3R is a fantastic way to get 3, 5-strap harnesses in the 3rd row. Good luck with baby 4! I did 6 kids in 9 years! It’s a roller coaster, but it’s one of those that are so fun to ride!❤

Due with baby #4 in July! Love that you also use muslin blankets for burp clothes. I give that advice to everyone! Also going to use a diaper cart for the first time…I don’t have a huge bedside table, and with my last baby I just found it got too crowded

yes good point on next day delivery! with my 2nd, many middle-of-the-night feedings ended with Amazon orders for things i had forgotten to grab, or didn't even know i needed til the situation arrived

Congratulations!!! I just wanted to add - I was told I would have a straightforward delivery. I labored at the hospital for 3 full days and had to stay 3 additional days. I wish I brought more clothes. Specifically underwear for the laboring part. Everyone said 2-3 days was all I needed. I hated it

Congrats by the way! I had to pump right after I fed my son every few hrs. Every 2, then 3, then 4. He was a preemie with a partial tongue tie. He didn't fully empty me either. At 6mos we stopped breast feeding due to a total milk allergy. My friend had to wear the guard & could only do it for about a month, the 1st was lactose, & the second wasn't emptying her either because of her shape. Hence the need for the guard.

We also have an Expedition for our 3 (for now) kids. The lead engineer for that car the was a mom of 6 kids, so it has a lot of family conveniences, like those care seat anchors everywhere, that other designers might not think of!

Congrats! My daughter drives a Hyundai SUV. It does not have a 3rd seat because they couldn't afford that. They have 3 boys ages 7, 5 and 2. They have slimmer seats that fit great in the back seat.
