I really don`t know what i should say but let me try to explain what this does to me because i want to share this special moment which it was for me. Iàm not really familiar with classic music (tried to play the Schneewaltzer when i was 10 and learning to play keyboard in the 80`s) but i love Music and i can feel it because iàm a hypersensible person. Now i`am 47 years old and sitting here at my breakfast table with my wife, playing this song and i was sitting here with tears in my eyes rolling down my face, not much but...yes. I have goosebumps on my whole body, listening to this music and seeing Sir Anthony Hopkins how he enjoy it so much listening to this masterpiece of composition played by the best Man Andre Rieu with his outstanding Orchestra. Nobody could transport this feelings better than Andre Rieu and his Orchestra. Iàm deeply impressed what Sir Anthony Hopkins had composed, a masterpie in my mind which touch the soul. You just don`t compose a masterpiece like this... it came from the bottom of the heart and soul and thats the reason why it has an impact like it has and iàm sitting here with tears in my eyes. Iam pretty sure that none of this great human beeings nether Sir Anthony Hopkins nor Andre Rieu is reading my post but it doesn`t matter because i just wan`t to share and express my feelings because i was surprised myself. Thank you for this special moment which it was for me Sir Anthony Hopkins and Andre Rieu with his outstanding Orchestra. All the best to both of you from the bottom of my heart!

You bring smiles and joy to people, regardless of their race, color, ethnicity and cultural background. One feels the human spirit exploding with exhilaration and bursts of happiness invoked by so simple yet so deep and touching sounds that one is left with nothing but a foolish smile after the music has had it's last breath. And then we stand up, walk with a smile, a happy step of which we are usually not even aware and look into the rest of our day with enthusiasm and brightness filled with hope. Thank You, dear Sir, thanks to your wonderful orchestra, and a special thanks to a maestro that is Sir Anthony Hopkins for coming together for such a marvelous masterpiece. Salute.

There is no such "touche" of Mr. Rieu to violin in the world i think. And when ever watch that video i can't stop my tears... The story is beautiful... The song is magnificent... Remembers me the best moments of my life... Long live Mr. Rieu and Sir Hopkins...

Sir Anthony could not have asked anyone better to play HIS WALTZ, A wonderful combination. Thank you ANDRE and SIR ANTHONY,

I am also a musician from Samoa graduated with Masters and I take me hat off for Sir Anthony, never knew your acting character reflects the music you composed, I say Encore... wonderfully laid out on different forms... and also wonderfully performed by Andre and his Orchestra. Bravo to you all. I wish that my country can afford to pay for you guys to tour our Island of paradise unfortunately I can't afford😍😍and still dreaming to be someday soon before I move on. Thank you once again to Sir Anthony and Andre for sharing this awesome piece of art for the whole world to hear and watch. God's blessings be upon you all musicians and may you continue to fill people's hearts in music. Fa'afetai!, 💙💙💜💜🌹🌹🙏🙏👍👍👍

Paul, I am glad you enjoyed this piece. But do yourself a favor and expose yourself to the ocean of classical music that exists and you will see that, even though this piece is indeed lovely, it gets lost in the ocean of other brilliant works
@WInnerwinnerchickendinner.10 жыл бұрын
Have been to classic concert all over the world for 30 years.This is up there with the best.Agree there Johaan Strauus is one of the finest composer ever but this piece by Hopkins is up there with the greats.True the guy chose acting or acting chose him but it just shows the real talent of Anthony Hopkins.Comparing this to modern popular music ,then Anthony Hopkins is on par with The Beatles.And I never thought anyone could do that.Strange how he hid this work in Liverpool since 1964.
