This is the best version I’ve ever heard..especially at the 2:38 part. The way the conductors eyes get bigger, throws his body into it and his hair shaking around adds to the electric feel in this version. Fun fact: This song was written by the famed Roman scholar Severinus Boethius. He was falsely imprisoned and executed for allegations of conspiracy against the king. I thought it was Wagner for years. Sadly this was due to this song being in a Documentary about that one time in Germany when...you know, that "little madman with the funny mustache"-time. Unfortunately, a young and hungry Carl Orff did accept commissions from the Nazis for original musical pieces various Party rallies, but in his later years, with the benefit of hindsight, Orff was humbly apologetic, expressing no ill will to the Jewish people while admitting to admiring Wagner-as-composer, not Wagner-as-virulent-racist-piece-of-shit....Kinda like when I was first learning guitar and Ted Nugent was still a loinclothed heavy metal performer that didn't ejaculate from having guns up his ass,
