I never understood why they didn't make the Wii controllers compatible with Switch. I prefer the pointing controls with the wiimote and sensor bar. Also the balance board was awesome.

Mouse functionality explains why we didnt get prime 2 and 3 on switch 1. Theyre getting mouse controls on switch 2. Wonder if prime 1 gets rereleased again as a trilogy on switch 2

i just hope the controllers input lag is low enough so that it is actually playable with a mouse, playing on a mouse with input lag is way more noticeable and annoying than on a joystick, so that really could be something that ruins the mouse gameplay

Motion controls and mouse controls are basically the same thing, both are you moving your wrist to aim lol.

In the case of Metroid Prime titles, seems like the Switch 2 JoyCons will use 9 axis motion sensors as opposed to the 6axis from the Switch 1 JoyCons. Not sure how much better they'll be, but apparently they'll be more precise, which should improve drifting issues and speed of the cursor, so I'll be using that instead of the mouse mode for Metroid Prime 4! :D

Wrong the 9 axis is in the tablet the joycons remain 6 axis according to those who read it the tablet gets the 9 axis the joycons remain 6 axis if so easily explained . The extra axis is compass magnetic based for directional positioning augmented reality gaming chasing Pokémon around your living room is example of this

9 axis was in the WiiU gamepad they were not better at among the switch joycons and pro pad and tablet sll had far higher resolution faster gyro tech it was not 9 axis tho as they didnt need to support moving around a room blasting augmented aliens or catching Pokémon

You're assuming mouse mode will be a choice for Prime 4 lol. While it COULD, I don't see it being likely.

Taking apart a pro controller to use as a mouse makes no sense...it's clunky and big, why would you not just use the Joycon for the same thing at that point.
