Writer-director-actress Evelyn Lorena @evelynlorenaofficial talks to filmmaker @AndresUseche1 about the personal, professional and spiritual journey which led her to create "Gabriela". The Oscar-qualifying short, tells the story of a young undocumented Guatemalan woman who defies stereotypes in pursuit of her dreams. It has screened at 50+ festivals worldwide, and was the recipient of the Netflix and Latino Film Institute's Indigenous Latino Fellowship.
