Welcome. Thank you for respecting our culture and showing that we can all get along. I am a Czech Canadian. My best bro is originally from Nigeria. Czechs may seem unapproachable, but when you show respect, they are very hospitable and not at all racist. They are generally not trusting of others because of historical issues. But it’s not about race. Thank you for being respectful and just a good person. Guests like yourself are always welcome. Any Czechs who don’t reflect your respect are not true Czechs. Good job on learning a difficult language.

Hi I’m from Poland so I can relate to this video from the citizens point of view since we have very similar cultural behavior. The way you show the respect and knowledge of language gives you the instant access to those people’s heart and the same thing would happen in my country but there is one thing you should NEVER do like one of the guys below comment and it’s walking around someone’s house when you don’t see anybody. In the slavic countries it’s a BIG no no. If you can’t hear anybody responding when you say “hello” or you just simply don’t see anybody you should leave the property immediately instead of still being on it not even mentioning walking around. Just friendly advice for better melting into the culture. Love your videos mate ✌️

On the one hand, the Czech Republic is often nicknamed the "nation of racists", but you show us the exact opposite in the video. With your enthusiasm and joy of the little things, you can open something completely unknown in people, until I have been surprised how openly the villagers welcome you to their homes. Wonderful video. We have a wooden house too. It's 100 years old unique social architecture for World Wat One victims like my grandfather. It's the only one in Europe. It used to be a train carrige. Czech state was solving difficult situation of war wictims by these types of accomodation. Some people believe, that problem with this wooden house is, that maybe the neighbour keeps cutting off wooden parts of the house and burns it in her fire place, because she wants to buy the house and push the owners out. More Husinec, Žižkova 48. Some people do not respect old wooden architecture, especially, when there is only one wooden house of this type in Europe ... 🤔🙄🙄🙄🤔

Man i think when a black man in CZ asks elderly people how many chickens they have and what about eggs....its putting them in weird place, just like in 11:30 :) He said, maybe there are some....like if you want them. Also those are very old people, they are little more letting than normal especially in a distant village. If you try to trespass on someone elses garden, i think you could be verbally attacked at least.
