I'm from Northern Pakistan, and the similarities are amazing. The mountains, snow, clothing, how the people look, and the food are all reminiscent of villages here. My grandparents lived in a village like this, and my grandmother built the family house with her own hands. Yes; It looks like it was a most of the day event as after everything was prepared and cooked, the holy night fell upon the outdoor kitchen - time to feast! Yes; this was very captivating to watch as one never knows what will happen next during all the hard work it took to prep the delicious looking meal with all the trimmings, bells, and whistles. Nothing quite like beautiful cleaned vegetables colorfully placed around the main dish kebab served with bread both cooked over the hot coals in the oven. A splendid get-together to share with us. Thank you, appreciate it, and we are grateful for the beauty and love shared.
