These guys really do make insanely great products. I've used a sansamp bass driver for over 10 years, and never had a single issue with it. It is my meat and potatoes of my pedal rig.

I love the GED 2112 so much that I bought 2. I was at a Gearfest recently and bought the first Geddy and a new Mesa Boogie subway WD800 head. I ended up returning the Mesa just because, while that mesa boogie kicks insanely amounts of ass, the Geddy was just that aligned with my sound and heavy hitting playing style. I play G&L L2Ks and those bastards are hot to the point that for me, it chokes almost all the class D amps that I've encountered (mesa being a big exception). These things just beg you to beat the shit out of your strings and you gotta love that. I feel that with this, I have total freedom to play as dynamically as I can and not have to worry about clip lights or limiters etc.... it's all coming at you. I've got mine at home set up with a stereo power amp, the drive going into a Markbass traveler 210 and the deep into a Markbass traveler 115 and its just an amazing sound to behold. My Mesa M6 carbine is now collecting dust in the closet.

Really a great interview. Thanks so much for it. Everything makes sense to me when Andrew explains it. I will get this pedal for sure - can't wait till it gets to Germany - and I very much look forward maybe someday something like this in a FlyRig setup (kind of like the dug Pedal) ... as Andrew said, there are always variations possible in the future!
