Wasn’t appreciated how big a loss he was to Ireland. The pace, kicking game and aerial threat were top notch with him.

Fab-u-Lous!! Such a shame that he has had to retire due to injury. Truly a natural on the fields, and thanks for all the enjoyment you have brought to rugby fans 👍☘💚🇮🇪

Was worthy of more than 30 caps. I think the hype from his youth days actually worked against him. People had it in their minds that he was some flashy prodigy when in reality and in the fullness of time we could see that his game was more about being a team player doing everything to a high degree of quality with no fuss. It was probably a bit late in the day when it was finally realised but he still had a great career. Leinster should never have let him go.

One of the most well-rounded wingers ireland has ever produced. Bitterly disappointing that he couldn't beat that knee injury, he definitely had a couple of good years in the tank.

Definitely deserved more games for Ireland... also what was that haircut at 4:45?

Dependable, no weak points, a truly underrated player because he so rarely made errors. I am sure he is the type of player that coaches love to have in their toolbox

Such a tragedy that Earls ,Stockdale and Conway didnt play at this WC . At 60 mins v New Zealand ,it suddenly struck me that Aki was our best chance of a try.

With his first touch in professional rugby he nearly scored a try for Leinster. Quite a talent that could have achived bigger and better things.

30 caps for Ireland, 15 tries. 150 caps for Munster, 50 tries, third highest. I think he achieved an awful lot

Glad he got a try on his last appearance although at the time no one knew that it would be his last appearance

Was so happy to see him back against the Sharks but it hit me like a truck. So reliable that you didn’t notice his true talents until he’s gone

I was always amazed with how he evaded tackles so easily, one of the most agile wingers in rugby

Underrated? In Ireland? I don't think so. Underplayed? Perhaps. Fans knew what they'd get when he was playing - genuine hope. The reel itself shows that he wasn't there to play, to play a good game etc etc. He was there to put points on the board. Some wings for Ireland were more dutiful and played to systems and perhaps didn't allow their 'wing' instincts to lord it over coaching instructions. Conway wasn't fruity and adventurous. He was solid and a team player, but he also knew his job and his instinct was to cross the line. He ranks highly. A big loss.
