While I think he's brilliant in his own way, success wont be easy for him as his vocals are at the moment too Americanised. If his singles are produced well and professionally then he will be in with a chance. Also his songs need to have a wider appeal.Oasis needed a professional producer to turn their material in to gold, Noel has even said the way to have success is to 'write a chorus'. But good luck to him.

well he's off to America to do some gigs with Louie Tomilson so i see no issue with his "americanised accent" (which i'm still not hearing tbh) there. Noel Gallagher has produced and played on the recording of this song. plus he's been smashing it up and down the country this year, so i rekon he'll be just fine.
