As a very proud and patriotic Welshman, I can tell you this through chatting to people from all over South Wales; despite the record NHS waiting lists, despite most NHS Authorities in the Pricipality being in special measures, despite the massive white elephant that is Cardiff Airport, despite the failed reinvention of the transport for Wales network costing hundreds of millions, despite the blanket 20mph speed limit on our roads, despite the woke education and indoctrination of our children, despite the absolutely criminal Covid sanctions brought in by the Welsh Government and the illegal fines handed out, despite the unfinished multi million pound road projects, despite Mark Drakefords insistance that Wales will become a refuge for illegal asylum seekers, despite the crippling tourist taxes and a whole raft of other hair-brained schemes brought in by the Assembley, people here will still vote Labour. The reason for this is simple, their great grandparents did, their grandparents did and their parents did. They will tell you the tories ruined wales by shutting the mines and decimating local towns and villages. They fail to understand that it was actually a socialist union that pushed the government into closing down the pits. Labour WILL win the next Welsh election and that hurts.

I’m an Englishman that’s been living in Wales for 4 years, the attitude to welsh labour has changed dramatically in that time in my opinion. I’m a Tory voter, I know they are far from perfect, but I guarantee things will be worse long term under labour, I’ve lived through enough of both parties being in power, I’ve always been better off under a conservative government. Andrew has my vote anyway 👍
