God I miss those days. We had so much more fun than these days, now that everyone is so sensitive.

That's at an earlier stage of his career and he was already great. Dice was HUGE in the late 80s to mid 90s, he sold out Madison Square Garden a few times. He was my introduction into harder standup around 89 and I never looked back :)

dice toned it. down about the time Clinton was elected....and a few yrs later " dice was back"...then during his series his wife was chewing his ass saying times were different and Hillary's getting elected....about the only thing he's good at is being a asshole and walking off of interviews.....in a way can't blame him....no way he could do a show like in the 1980s.

His album the diceman cometh made me and my friends laugh on the school bus everyday in high school. Even our school bus driver would laugh and shake his head.

Sam Kinison was another one Rodney " introduced" us to . try his marriage and world hunger bit if you want a good laugh . or since you have a musical side watch him on Johnny Carson singing Are You Lonesome Tonight . George Carlin did a take on nursery rhymes long before this , speaking of Carlin have you done his 7 dirty words yet ?

Dice was cancelled even back then. In the late 80s he was scheduled to be a guest star on SNL, and all the women cast members refused to show up if they went ahead with him. He was cancelled and didn't guest on the show.

Back in the 80s the Japanese were buying everything in the US. People went nuts when they wanted to buy Bank of NY. You will also see 80s movies about the Japanese in the car factories like Mr. Mom. So that is where the Japanese jokes are coming from.
