Fantastic level of detail!! That 'bar' system you describe, sounds like an 'Electric staff' system. As a railroader in Australia, it's a common method of 'safe railway working on single lines. 2 electrically connected staff instruments are locked up when a staff is removed from either machine and not free again until the staff is returned to either machine.

Awesome layout!!! The audio of the locomotives running is a bit too loud and the spoken audio is too soft to hear what he is saying at times... enjoyed watching anyway!

Unfortunately, KZbin does not allow substitution of existing videos. If I re-edited, the video statistics would start from zero. Keeping the stats up promotes the scale by having KZbin suggest it to other users. Maybe adjusting your bass and treble controls would help? Do you wear a hearing aid? Maybe it needs adjustment?

It's O Scale; 1/48. P48 stands for Proto:48 where the track gauge has been adjusted to exact scale 1.177 inches. In addition to correcting the track gauge, P48 modelers strive for the utmost realism.

I'm sorry. These videos are not recorded on cell phones. The video is recorded with high end consumer equipment. The narration is recorded separately using studio grade gear. It's post processed and then mixed with the edited video. I've spent several hundred dollars on audio equipment, I do not know what more I could do.

@@2railoscale Your voice (I'm guessing it was you) came in clear. However, I really had to concentrate hard to hear Andrew speak. That is not how a narrated video is supposed to work. The only comments I am reading are from viewers saying they cannot hear Andrew. I can't please everyone in KZbin land with my 2 weekly livestream videocasts either. I just do the job according to our plan and chuckle at the backseat directors. Set the audio levels to what you think they should be. You are allow to drop the train audio a bit when the narration is in progress. Myself or one of the other crew members has to constantly adjust the audio levels depending on what is happening at the moment.
