This is a tough, vulnerable song to sing, so it's cool to be heard sung by a guy, because sometimes we feel those things, too, but hold them in. Most people don't come close to Miss Benatar's vocal power, since she was trained in opera, but you're neck and neck with her, man. Your voice is excellent, and fits the emotional openness of the song perfectly. Kudos to you on this killer cover.

After 30 some odd years of listening to Rock/Pop hits, i still love them but get a bit tired of hearing them over and over. So after catching the tail end of this song on the radio on my way home, i wanted to hear it, but have also heard Pat Benatar sing it 235092385 times lol I decided to check KZbin in the hopes of finding a good cover. Very refreshing sound to the song while catching it's essential elements, i love what you did with it. TL;DR Fantastic Cover my Man!

As a vocalist myself. He does work in that registry. I can sing all the way into parts and pieces of the whistle registry, and I'm on number 5 practice run, and not that close to having this version nailed down, but im a bass/baritone. Plus, my southern drawl is as thick as Minage. I have to actively monitor, and deflate it, during anything that ain't country...
