Normally a guest does not get a frontal (anchor) shot to deliver a message, it's always a semi side-frontal shut. Those 90 plus seconds where Andrew Gillum got the frontal shot had me listening with a little bit more attention. He's got the chops to deliver a message for sure!

@Ted Freddy healthcare is a right. Every modern nation has a form of medicare for all. Tens of thousands die in the USA every year because of lack of access to healthcare and medical bankruptcy is a thing only in the usa. To think that only rich people who can afford it be the only ones who have access is morally wrong.

@Ted Freddy come on Ted. You don't honestly believe that. Do you? canada doesn't have free cars, or free education. Nor does Europe. Some countries have free education which I think is a good thing. I never said I love like capitalism. I think it should be regulated so we don't have child labour or people working outrageous hours. Democratic socialist countries are the best countries to live in the world and their people are ranked in the top of the world in terms of happiness. if

It's funny people keep saying we can't raise the minimum wage and expand healthcare because it will cost trillions of dollars but trillions have been funneled to the rich beginning with the Bush administration and deficits and debt has soared under Trump. I hear crickets from the GOP on the debt issue. Large corporation can afford a $15 an hour minimum wage especially Walmart who has many full time workers on government assistance.

Medicare for All is estimated to cost $30 trillion dollars. BUT our CURRENT health insurance expenditures are $32.8 trillion dollars! That's how MfA can save ~$3 trillion dollars. And that's while it covers _everyone_ where our current system leaves 28 million people uninsured. It's not "raising of taxes in a vacuum". It's businesses and individuals _not_ paying a For Profit corporation for frequently denied and high deductible health insurance, and instead paying _less_ than what they already pay into MfA and getting _more_ coverage. You'll never see a single one of these main stream news outlets mention how much we currently pay for health insurance because every single one of them receives millions of dollars from the pharmaceutical industry in ad purchases. You'll probably never see any of them mention that over 70% of the country including 51% of Republicans want Medicare for All either.

That part about the cost of Medicare for all is both true AND a lie. It fails to note that most employers are ALREADY paying a huge "tax" to insurance companies, and people without employer paid insurance are paying an even larger "tax" to them for crappy coverage. We could do it all through Medicare much more cheaply, and eliminate Medicaid, CHIP, and all the patchwork programs we pay to administer separately today, and save even more. Doctors and hospitals would save a lot too, because they would not need so many specialists in billing to figure out what is covered, or how to get things paid by a zillion different insurance plans. We are ALREADY spending more than $360 billion a year on healthcare and that is just going UP! $30 trillion over 10 years to cover everyone is the greatest bargain we could make.

The always asked BS disingenuous question, but how will you pay for universal healthcare. The fact is that every country with universal health care pays 1/2 per capita what the US pays for poorer coverage. If you want to compare actual health care costs, it is again the government controlled systems that provide the best value for money. The USA ranks 11th and spends 2x what the top 10 spend for much less return, Great Britain at #1 does it for $5100 less per capita than the USA. Canada at #10 does it for $4000 less than the USA. That translates into spending $1.3T more than Canada per year for less coverage and poorer results. Everyone in the USA should be demanding universal healthcare and the resulting savings. www.commonwealthfund.org/publications/fund-reports/2014/jun/mirror-mirror

Mentacide is a disorder that has affected many Democrats and been researched long ago. There are many renound psychiatrist that have published research in this matter in medical journals. I would be happy to forward these to anyone interested the research concludes that medication is directly related to serotin levels; however counseling is crucial. I am a retired psychiatrist not psychologist and have treated many patients with this disorder over 30 years. This problem is on a large scale and I felt compelled to respond. The replies are personally attacking and vulgar. Symptoms of this disorder with treatment. I mean no harm and God bless
