No that was Alex Murphy who played for St Helens, Leigh & Warrington from the mid 50s to the mid 70s. Johns is nowhere near. The best Australian half that's ever played is Peter Sterling. The game of rugby league isn't just about the here and now and the NRL. Fans in Australia (in general) don't deserve the game they've got. They know very little about the sport
