Andrew Koji Casts Doubt on Returning as Storm Shadow for Snake Eyes Sequel (exclusive)

Bullet Train's Andrew Koji has become a rising star in Hollywood due to his lead role in HBO Max's Warrior and appearance in Paramount's Snake Eyes origin film. While a sequel for the film has been said to be in the works, Koji tells ComicBook.com he doesn't think he'll be reprising his role as Storm Shadow in the film.

Too bad they had to ruin the origins for snake eyes. Do people not realize the Original Stories is what got us invested in these characters to begin with. There's an old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I disagree cause growing up I never knew the backstory of any of the Joes I just thought they looked cool. It's all about sticking to the character rather than sticking to the classic origin

@@veggiewillymass yes but you're forgetting one important point, origin's make the character that's why it's called a origin. You changed that you're changing the building blocks that made that character special to begin with. If you don't know his original origin story how do you know you wouldn't like it more so than what garbage they put out in the new movie. Your argument has nothing to stand on because you don't know anything about the original origin if you did and you prefer the new one that would be fine. Can't disagree and say something's better if you don't know how the original was🤷‍♂️ Stay blessed bro✌

@@fenrisgodslayer4190 Didn't even say anything's better. The movie wasn't good but u don't have to stick to the original origin for it to work. As long as you get the broad strokes down pat the character should turn out good, Snake Eyes failed in this regard. See every live action film Spider-Man iteration for an example of it done well (Andrew's Spidey origin is kinda shaky tho but works as a character)
