On the original London production (which I was lucky enough to watch when I was younger,) Dorothy did fly and the only projections used were the twister sequence and the Wizard's face. Apart from that, all the effects were real. It was really good! The original is always better personally.

I hate this new version. I understand the story is over 100 years old--- but these songs just don't come CLOSE to the originals. And, they decided to make the lion gay and the Scarecrow and Tin Man are uncomfortable around him! I mean, really?

"Wrote". Webber didn't write a note for this show. It's all ripped Kander and Ebb and various pieces which didn't fall into copywright extension laws since they had no original

Ugh this is probably just a spin off of the wizard of oz and hopefully not trying to be it exactly cause they failed big time. Ugh they got everyone well mainly the wicked witch so wrong and is a disgrace to Margaret Hamilton who originally played her. I cant even watch this it's so horribly done. I know people will hate me for this comment seeing as the wizard of oz movie itself isnt even accurate to the book. Which I want to quickly add is only because when they made the movie they wanted to make use of the newly found technicolor technology that turned the scenes from back and white to color. Nonetheless I am a wizard of oz fanatic and know everything their is to know about the movie and how it was made ect. All this aside it did look like they put hard work into making this play so I'll give them credit for that I guess.
