I felt very strongly we didn’t get enough of the development of the friend group and/or Elphaba with Glinda. One of the best moments for me is when they’re talking together in their room after they become friends. Would have loved to see more of them together.

I really wish they kept these, especially the montage (although, I think they could afford to shorten it). This story is very character driven, and it's very important to build up relationships. They could have easily cut that long monkey transformation/chase scene and swapped it in with something that would help enhance the story more.

Possibly due to time, something similar happened with the last songs of the Wizard of Oz from 1939, but now we have technology and we can show our interest to have them included in a DVD or Blue Ray.

There were also some scenes that were cut short like between Glinda and Elphaba in their room and between Elphaba and Fiyero in the woods. I wish they had kept those moments. From these scenes I'm genuinely sad we didn't get a (shorter) version of the montage. While I absolutely ADORE the film I didn't really feel like the five had established a friend group at all and I think that scene would have helped.

Movies are always big on money, inferences, and shortening. They are already on a budget. Unfortunately with how things now a days with tick tock and other such, they were likely worried on if they would keep the audience's attention as "whole." During the movie I saw some people walking back and forth and a few of my friends said they got tired towards the end and woke up when things with the Wizard went left. So they likely couldn't afford to make it longer, though I personally would have watched it. Wicked is a popular play and book, so they likely assumed while making this version stand on its own, they ditched the scenes assuming people would fill in the blanks with videos like these or from prior knowledge of the book or play. I even had a friend who said she knew all the songs and didn't have to see the movie due to her distaste for one of the actors but knew the movie would likely be good. Thanks for releasing this video. I haven't seen the play or read the book but this makes a lot of things make more sense now.

This is the comment that I was looking for. Their initial meeting was cool, but he seemed totally wrapped up in Glinda, and I saw no indication that she was feeling him. He was looking at Elphaba like she was crazy when she was dancing. Then we are supposed to believe that there was some deep connection after they rescued the cub and because she sings I'm not that girl? There were no scenes to develop chemistry, so either they deleted those scenes or just assumed the audience would just be sold on the non-existent chemistry.

Fiyero even threatens to kill Glinda and Elphaba almost convinced her to lose everything for her while eyeing up her man. If you for one second think they are a couple you are supposed to cheer on think again. Even in the books Fiyero has another wife and kids but Elphaba doesnt care and still has a kid with him although she hates her child.

First of all the only time Glinda betrayed them aka telling Madame Morrible about Nessa was because they betrayed her first and it was a gut punch reaction to both of them leaving her at the alter and humilating her. Which still would have happened if Glinda went with Elphaba. Glinda didnt know Madame Morrible would kill Nessa though so she lived with regret for her actions but Elphaba and Fiyero did not. He even threatened to kill Glinda at one point and led her along for five years. Also Fiyero let Elphaba terrorize Dorothy and her dog and still stood by her. He wasn't helping Dorothy he was helping Elphaba. Lied to Dorothy and helped ensnare her in Elphaba's trap. You do not even seem to understand Wicked because Wicked unlike you does not try to defend their actions. It simply answers the why.

i think it might depend on the situation / moment. in the montage pic, they seem to be running. although i’m not a wheelchair user, i can’t imagine it’s too easy to go that fast while doing it on your own. maybe she asked for helped or Fiyero offered a helping hand. but yeah, it was very clear from the start that she definitely wants to be more independent.

Having this montage shows me that jon chu and the writers did not like the way Boq was presented in the musical. With these extra scenes, we see a Boq that is a mix of his musical and book version. And that makes me happy cause i absolutely despise his musical version. Also the friend group hangouts would be reminescent of the hangouts we see in the book and i 100% would have wanted to see that montage make the cut.

Out of nowhere, but What if Juleka is the next monarch after lila(Cerise) is defeated? I feel like that juleka and rose will betray and attack ladybug and cat noir after they defeat Lila and juleka and rose steal the butterfly miraculous away from ladybug the moment that she takes it back from Lila, and then juleka holds, wears, and uses both the tiger miraculous and the butterfly miraculous simultaneously while rose still has the pig miraculous but only uses them for evil purposes and the two become villains and they have an evil lair and the purpose and storyline on why they betrayed the team is because of how many times juleka got akumatized and rose's childhood disease that she still currently has and both them are desperate to find a cure and they think that the best way to do that is to capture ladybug and cat noir's miraculous and make a wish. Juleka says, "Nooroo, Roarr, Dual metamorphosis!", or "Nooroo, Roarr, Unify!" And juleka and rose wear new villainous costumes that suit their evil personas and they start akumatizing people.
