Steve Osborne, I agree 100%. he didnt care about leaving the EU either, that was just his opportunity to further his own ambitions. As far as Im concerned he should be dragged out of Downing Street immediately. He was happy to play fast and loose with rules and laws so the same could reasinably be applied to him. It comes to something when even in the speech itself outside number 10, the moments where he hints that he is going are seen to be the most truthful part of the whole speech. He doesn't actually use the word 'resign' or its equivalent but you can just about detect a glimmer of him telling the truth for once - "I am going". There we have the real person. No smoke or mirrors or a disguise to pedal something in front of the British public and catch us while we're not looking. It is weirdly, absurdly refreshing to hear him almost uttering something which is not a lie. It is disturbing. If he had actually said "Now I'm going to resign" that would have been the most shocking part of the whole BS, because he wouldn't be lying...

Dominic Raab should resign before he is sacked from his ministerial position and hopefully deselected for lying to parliament. The Tories are in a mess because there is no one in their entire coterie who stands out as of leadership quality.

If I understand correctly, somebody must tell the Queen that sacking him is the will of the people. Not sure whether that might be The Speaker, an envoy somehow chosen by Parliament, ... Funny what happens when you have a "we expect people to be honest" system with no failsafes :(
